I wanted to share the name of the instructor that taught me the finer points of long distance shooting in Idaho, but did not ask for permission to do so.
Hobbies are hobbies, golf, drag racing, shooting, crochet… anything to bring you back into the moment and center yourself in the present. My shooting forces me to clear my mind of problems and worries, then focus on the crosshairs in my scope and my target. Then turn anywhere between $1-$3 a round into gunsmoke and memories.
My challenge to you is find a hobby that doesn’t involve doom scrolling and fence fighting with nemesis online. GO tough some grass and take care of your family.
