Just published another short story on Kindle.
The origin story for Pole Dance Aviation and a new Private Military Company.
Pole Dance Aviation on Kindle.
Almost a year ago I was inspired to tell the story of a fictional PMC formed by a group of “Vet Bros” to combat the growing drone threat to Ukraine. The initial thought, “Did you see those Ukrainians using old ass prop trainers with a guy in back shooting a 12 gage to shoot down drones?” This grew to a rich vet bro that made his billions after retiring by selling veteran themed t-shirts and fresh roasted coffee.
So “Pole Dance Aviation” was formed to use crazy mechanics and technicians using 3D printers and hot rod know how to drag Cold War airframes into the 21st century. The first is the OV10J, my drone hunting version loosely based on the two OV10Gs that DoD borrowed from NASA and modified to be an effective man hunter using laser guided 2.75” rockets to put a warhead into the target’s back pocket.
Navy order more advanced 2.75” rockets.
USAF using laser guided rockets to kill drones.
My graphic artist had some fun with the book cover. Mrs. Cedar Sanderson was given free rein to make a modern interpretation of the lady on the side of the “Memphis Belle” and add stripper pumps. As always, she is a master of creating an image from my ideas.
Ok, now here is the link to the story on kindle. Please feel free to leave feedback and let me know what you would like to read about.
See all of you on the drop zone!
Please let us know how well it works posting a short story like that. I'm curious to know, in ballpark terms, how well it goes.
